| The Coaching Education emphasis is an online program designed for experienced coaches seeking to improve their knowledge and skill base as well as for individuals preparing to enter the coaching field. The program is designed to be completed in four semesters. The program offers totally online courses in performance enhancement, coaching administration, athletic training, and coaching effectiveness. The curriculum follows National Coaching Standards for Level 5 Coaching Status. |
| Admissions Requirements |
Admission Requirements - Regular
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 (4.0 scale).
- Minimum score of 400 on the GRE Verbal section plus submission of scores for the:
- Quantitative and Analytical sections of the GRE taken prior to October 1, 2002, OR
- Quantitative and Analytical Writing sections of the GRE taken after October 1, 2002.
- A full vitae or resume that includes the following: a) Work history, b) Professional experiences, c) Membership and participation in professional organizations, d) Other experiences related to the academic program, and e) Contact information for a minimum of three references.

| Attendance Requirements |
-This program is a cohort centered program. Each Summer Session (May), a cohort of coaches begin their program. We do not accept students to begin the program for the Fall or the Spring semesters. | - 6 credits can be transferred into a student's program of study. |

| -April 1st (Aplications completed before February 15th will receive high priority). All Students begin their progam in May of Summer session 1. |
