The Georgia WebMBA® offers qualified and highly motivated professionals the opportunity to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with little interruption to their work and personal lives. The 5-semester program is offered in an exclusive asynchronous environment. Ranked by GetEducated.com as among the 10 “Best Buy” distance MBAs, the program is offered by five professionally (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and regionally (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) accredited universities in the University System of Georgia. Each year, only 30-35 working professionals are admitted into this selective program, which relies primarily on team-based learning. Graduate faculty with full professional and academic qualifications facilitate interactive learning in the 10-course curriculum. Implemented in 2001, the program has high retention, associate satisfaction, and graduation rates.

Attendance Requirements
No course residencies: You will never visit a campus or take proctored exams for courses. All work, except for a 2-day orientation, is done online.
Transfer Policies
No more than two (2) 3-credit-hour courses can be transferred. The admitting institution determines whether specific courses are eligible to be transferred. Transfer credit must be accepted by the admitting institution before entering the program. Only courses from AACSB-accredited schools will be considered. We encourage participants to take all courses in the WebMBA® curriculum, since the program is team-based and lock-step. Courses build on previous instruction in the program. Our schools follow specific requirements in reviewing foundation courses for acceptance. Before enrolling in a course, please check with the MBA director at the school through which you are applying. The director will advise you whether the course meets school admission requirements.

Special Program Requirements
Georgia WebMBA® coursework consists of 10 courses. A non-credit orientation is held two days in August at one of our Georgia campuses. The next cycle of the Georgia WebMBA® will be in August. Courses begin each August.

Tuition and Fees

The Georgia WebMBA® offers quality education at tuition rates well below the national average for AACSB-accredited universities. Both Business Week online and U.S. News & World Report online list our competitive tuition costs as compared to peer schools.
The total program tuition for in-state and out-of-state students currently is $546 per credit hour, which equals $1,638 per course. The total program tuition cost is $16,380. An orientation fee is also required at time of acceptance. Costs are subject to change. Our course-ware can be accessed via the Internet without purchasing proprietary software.

Special Enrollment Issues
-Students enrolled in the program will use our online courses to conduct all work, including team functions, exams, discussion posts, and cases or simulations. Students also have access to academic resources, such as an online library. Courses are asynchronous. No face-to-face or group online meetings are required. The courses combine text materials, case studies, online team projects and assignments, as well as discussions and written project work. Student teams typically decide when members will meet in real-time, although no synchronous meetings are mandatory. Grades may be based primarily on reports, exams, assigned case studies and simulations, and participation in course and team activities.
