Below is the step by step process and other important information for registering and logging into your GeorgiaOnMYLine courses after being accepted into the program. Please follow the guide and direct all inquiries to the appropriate channel as listed below in the Getting Help section. If you have not yet applied for admission, or would like to search programs, visit http://www.georgiaonmyline.org.
What you should have before beginning

You should have received your acceptance/admission letter that contains the following:

  • Your Georgia Southern email address (something@email.georgiasouthern.edu).

Please make note of this information as your proceed.

Step 1 - Contact your academic advisor

Your advisor serves as your guide during your program of study. Advisors can offer guidance about courses to select each semester, provide details about future course offerings, and help ensure that you've completed all of the necessary details related to your program. Below are the advisors and their contact information for the current programs of study.

Step 2 - Register for your GOML courses

Follow the steps below to complete the registration process (do NOT register through Georgia Southern WINGS).

  • Access the GeorgiaOnMYLine website: http://www.georgiaonmyline.org
  • Click on the Registration link.
  • Login. Your username is your Georgia Southern email address and your password is your date of birth in the MMDDYYYY format.
  • You'll be asked to set a security question should you forget your password.

You are now logged into the registration system where you can add or drop courses. If you are placed on a wait list for a course, please be patient until a new section is opened. No student will be turned away from a course they've registered for.

 

Step 3 - Logging into My.GeorgiaSouthern

My.GeorgiaSouthern is an information portal where you will find important services during your time as a Georgia Southern student.

The following steps will guide you in logging in:

  • Access My.GeorgiaSouthern directly at https://my.georgiasouthern.edu or through http://www.georgiasouthern.edu
  • Click on the Are you a First Time User? link under the Account Management tab.
  • Follow the on screen instructions to retreive your login information.
  • Once logged in, you will see the My.GeorgiaSouthern homepage.

 

Step 4 - View invoice and pay outstanding fees

To view your invoice and pay your fees, you will need to access the WINGS program within My.GeorgiaSouthern.

  • Click on the WINGS service link once you've logged in.
  • Click on the Student Services & Financial Aid link.
  • Choose from the options to view Financial Aid or Registration Invoice and Web Payment options.

 

Step 5 - Log in to your online courses (Access WebCT Vista)

Next you will need to login to WebCT Vista to access your course work (not until a week before classes start).

  • Login to https://goml.view.usg.edu with your username (your email address) and your password as your birthdate in the MMDDYYYY format. (Note: You can also click on the "GeorgiaOnMYLine Vista" service link within My.GeorgiaSouthern)
  • NOTE: Your courses will be available on the day of the semester start date.

 

Quick Admit Additional Instructions

Remember, approval for Quick Admission is for one semester only. To continue in the program you are required to submit all required admission materials for your program. Your first notification of these requirements was included in your intial email, but you will receive periodic communications concerning these items.

Quick Admit Students must provide all specified application materials prior to the beginning of Semester Two registration. Once all items are received, your application will be reviewed for Regular Admission, and if granted, you will receive notification of Regular Admission by mail, and be cleared for Semester Two registration.

Applicants may complete the process at any time, so you are not required to wait. Please send official transcripts from all previously attended institutions, official GACE II/Praxis II/or TCT scores to:
